Frequently asked questions

Why is Calc Studio an add-on module?
The module is built for print shops with in-house production and their own machine park. If you mainly sell catalog products, the webshop's standard calculation does fine without it.
Can we migrate our existing Excel calculations?
Yes — in practice you rebuild them once on the canvas, and they become documented and maintainable at the same time. CSV import of price lists is built in.
Does the calculation use real cost rates?
Yes. Hourly rates, click rates, paper prices from the media stock and power consumption all feed in, so the contribution margin is real — not an estimate.
